THE TIMEFORM VIEW V TWELVE is taken to repeat his 2024 victory in this on the back of an encouraging effort at Newcastle where he finished around 7 lengths adrift of second-placed Mister Smarty but now meets that rival on 4lb better terms and, moreover, he’ll be sharper with that run under his belt (he was returning from a four-month break that day). TIMEFORM VIEW Fetched £50,000 after winning sole start in points and Rules debut effort in a Uttoxeter bumper was fairly encouraging. However, disappointing over hurdles so far, pulled up tried in blinkers at Bangor when last seen in December (since undergone a wind op) and cheekpieces now given a whirl. TFRHIIII BHA93

TIMEFORM VIEW Ended losing run of more than 4 years when striking at Huntingdon (25f, good to soft) recently, with a number of factors potentially contributing to that revival, including a first-time visor, 11-week break, breathing operation and it was his debut for the Max Comley yard. THE TIMEFORM VIEW As low-mileage 6-y-os from top yards, JUKEBOX FURY and Skiffle Man are naturally appealing, particularly given that they both arrive here on the back of improved efforts. The latter’s handicap debut second over 20.5f at Southwell augurs well with regard to this new trip and he is not passed over lightly, but Jukebox Fury got the better of a next-time-out winner when opening his account upped to a similar trip to this at Doncaster and he is marginally preferred. Aazza makes some each-way appeal.

THE TIMEFORM VIEW The vote goes to BALLYNOE BOY, who showed more than enough on his debut at Catterick to suggest that there are races to be won with him. CARE
Our Groundstaff spend countless hours working outside in all weathers keeping the racing surface, the fences and hurdles in tip top condition.
Their day to day job includes mowing, strimming, repairing Steeplechase fences and building and maintaining our Hurdles. They also keep the outside enclosure areas clean and tidy, trimming hedges, leaf blowing, power-washing, weed-killing and washing down what must seem like miles of running rail which they also move frequently during the season.
Some of the team are based at the stables which they have to clean out fully between every raceday, including on two-day meetings.
On a the team all have various they help, assist in catching loose get to
On a raceday, the team all have various roles including being out on the track in the chase cars that follow the race, so they can be on hand to help, should a jockey become unseated and need first aid or just a lift back to the Weighing Room, or to assist in catching a loose horse. They work alongside the fence staff, to repair fences and swap out hurdles during racing. They rarely get to see who actually wins a race!
We are incredibly grateful to Neal, Ian, Matt, Marcus, Phil, Jack and Les for their hard work in keeping us racing!
