Art Emmanuel College’s Department of Art challenges students to see, speak and listen to others through art. Each program within the department strives to develop a student’s potential to communicate, influence and interact creatively in society in an effective and responsible way. Emmanuel’s location in Boston allows students access to a vast array of resources. Outstanding museums and galleries such as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston are only a short walk or subway ride away. Where Can Studying Art Get You? Emmanuel College believes that the best preparation for success and meaningful careers is a strong liberal arts and sciences education. The art department at the College reflects that conviction. The program provides students with opportunities – through courses in specialized fields within the discipline, as well as through internships – to develop the skills and knowledge required to move into the world of work.
