Global Studies & International Affairs The global studies & international affairs program is an interdisciplinary major designed to prepare students for work and life in an increasingly interconnected world. The program provides a broad-based foundation in world history, culture, politics and economics. Students will gain in-depth understanding of international relations, conflict and change, and a heightened sensitivity to diverse cultures.

Where Can Studying Global Studies & International Affairs Get You? Emmanuel College believes that the best preparation for success and meaningful careers is a strong liberal arts and sciences education. The global studies & international affairs department at the College reflects that conviction. The program provides students with opportunities – through courses in specialized fields within the discipline, as well as through internships – to develop the skills and knowledge required to move into the world of work. Emmanuel global studies & international affairs majors intern at locations such as World Boston, Travel Illume and the Habitat for Humanity International. Graduates find careers in a variety of areas, including international business, law, media, public health, immigration and the environment. Recent graduates earned acceptance into graduate programs at the University of London and Loyola New Orleans School of Law.
