EXPERIENCE: HIGHER EDUCATION Lecturer in Education, Brandeis University, Waltham, MA Summer, 2010, 2011, 2012. *Taught course for pre-service teachers focused on studies of learning and the development of teaching practices and curriculum that are responsive to learners.. Teaching Fellow, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Cambridge, MA (Fall semesters) September 2009 – January, 2012. *Assisted in the teaching of Dr. Eleanor Duckworth’s courses on teaching and learning *Responded to and evaluated students’ weekly and final written work Assistant Professor, Graduate College of Education, University of Massachusetts, Boston, MA 20012005. *Taught courses for pre-service and practicing teachers in secondary English curriculum development and methods. Taught sections of introductory course for teacher education students in the elementary certification track. These courses included studies of learning, teaching practices, questions of equity and other current issues in education, and pre-practica in area schools.
