G R A D U AT E P R O G R A M S IN MANAGEMENT
• Master of Science in Management • Graduate Certificate in Management & Leadership • Graduate Certificate in Research Administration
Advance your knowledge of management and expand your career path. Taking the next step in your management career goes beyond just getting a graduate degree or certificate. It’s about putting yourself in the kind of challenging and inspiring graduate program that can empower you to choose the right direction for your career. The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that management and business occupations will grow by more than 2 million in the near future. Opportunities for career advancement are within your reach. Here at Emmanuel College, we equip you with the necessary tools to follow through on taking that next step. When you choose to broaden your career skills with us, be ready to immerse yourself in a program that will not only prepare you for the future, but also challenge you both academically and personally.
This is not your standard classroom experience. We offer relevant and inspiring classroom experiences to help you develop the management skills you need. Small class sizes allow for greater interaction among students and professors. With an average class size of 15 students, you have the ability to engage in lively classroom discussions, share your unique experiences and learn about a variety of professional environments. Every nuance of what it takes to be a manager is embraced in our programs, including leadership styles, organizational theories of behavior, high-performance team development, communication, strategy and the ethical responsibilities of leaders and managers. Our Boston campus is located in the heart of the Longwood Medical and Academic Area, adjacent to some of the most respected health care institutions, for-profit employers and cultural centers in the city. Emmanuel’s proximity to this world-renowned area has allowed the College to form strategic partnerships to enhance the degrees and certificates offered through the Graduate and Professional Programs, including onsite classes with employers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In addition, we offer convenient suburban campuses in Woburn and Quincy. Each seven-week class meets just once a week, enabling you to fit academics into your professional and personal schedules. Most students can complete the degree program in two to three years. We have rolling admissions and enrollment opportunities multiple times per year, which help to accelerate the completion of your graduate degree or certificate.
Your professors bring real-world business experience. You will learn from those who have worked in the profession and have experienced what they are teaching. Our faculty members bring experience from employers such as Verizon Wireless, Hewlett Packard, Texas Instruments, government agencies and some of the world’s best medical centers. Bringing together current knowledge and theory, they address the ever-changing needs of managers today in ways that go far beyond typical textbook learning. This kind of experience simply can’t be matched at larger schools serving working professionals.
The Emmanuel Difference Emmanuel College is where potential meets career growth and real-world possibility. Our principles of education are rooted in ethical values and social responsibility – we develop professional leaders who make a positive impact in the world. With our decades-long tradition of values-based education, we empower you to become the professional you strive to be: a leader capable of making a positive difference in your chosen field. When you begin the journey to advance your management career, our promise is that we are on the path with you, and we take every step possible to support your goals.
