Being a Catholic country, father’s day is celebrated on Saint Joseph’s day, Mary’s husband, representing the good values of a proper husband and a loving father in his role as part of the Holy Family.

It is not an official holiday and business is as usual except in some parts of Spain when it is treated as a public holiday.

Father’s Day is celebrated in most parts of the world, however the day may vary from country to country. For instance, this year in the UK and USA, it will be on June 21st.
