Step 1: Choose the Store Domain This is the first step wherein you will know how to place the store.

For creating a store, please follow the instructions:   

If you want to create the store one level below the primary domain, you don’t need changes.

Choose and configure the subdomain of your main domain.

Choose a unique main primary domain.

Step 2: Create New Store Go to the Admin Panel, then go to the stores -> Settings -> All Stores.

Choose the 'create a store' option to set up a new store and follow the instructions:    

Choose the website that could be the main website of the new store. If you have only one website, you can use the default option “Main Website”.

Now choose the best name for your new store (for internal reference).

Now you can set the root category in the category field, for the menu in the new store.

Now setup the root categories that can be found in the dropdown list, you can choose anyone from the store.

Step 3: Create a Default Store View       

Choose to create a store view option.

Now assign it to the newly created store.

Choose a name for the store view of you Magento 2 Store.

Write the codding for the store view.

Click on the “Enabled” option to show the Status.

Arrange the Sort Order of the new store on the list.

Save Store View to save all settings.

Step 4: Configure Store URL This step will guide you about configuring the Store URL.       

First of all, you need to go on the Admin Panel, Then go to Stores Then go to settings Then go to Configuration.

Go to the left side of the panel below the general, choose the 'Web' option.

Go to the upper-left side corner, click on the store view option to confirm your newly created store.

Click on the 'OK' option to confirm the cope switching.
