Lucks Colors Lucks Liquid Airbrush Colors Lucks Liquid Airbrush Colors are specially formulated to be versatile for coloring icings and for use with airbrushes. They are grit-free and can be mixed directly into piping gel and all types of icings. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified. Lucks Shimmer Airbrush Colors Lucks Shimmer Airbrush Colors are for airbrushing metallic shine onto cakes and other desserts. Approved for food use in the USA, they add a beautiful finish to your creations. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified. Lucks Liqua-Gel Colors Lucks Liqua-Gel Colors are more concentrated than liquid colors and can be added to icings to give long-lasting vibrant color. US Kosher Supervision.

Dec-Ons速 sugar decorations are made primarily from finely granulated sugar which is molded into various shapes and hand painted with edible food colors. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified.

Royal Icing Decorations Royal Icing Decorations are handmade edible food decorations that can be applied to cupcakes, candies, chocolates and other confectionery products. This exclusive product line is manufactured for Lucks. The sizes listed for each item represent approximate measurements for designs; sizes will vary slightly. KSA-D Kosher Certified.

Edible Transfer Sheets For Chocolate Edible Transfer Sheets for chocolate are easy to handle and do not smear. They do not contain cocoa butter, can be shipped year round and work well on milk, dark and white chocolate and coating chocolate. Orthodox Union Kosher certified.

Royal Icing Roses Royal Icing Roses are made from viscous royal icing to create velvety-smooth consistently attractive flowers. The roses come in a variety of pastels and rich colors to match any confection, or they can be airbrushed to create unique colors. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified.

Edible Image® Decorations Edible Image® decorations are flat-printed edible designs that can be applied to many food items, such as cakes, cookies, even ice cream cakes. The decorations consist primarily of starches and sugars in the edible base. They are preprinted with edible food colors that retain color clarity and resist color bleeding, even on high moisture applications. The Edible Image® decorations absorb moisture from the food product and become soft, melding with the food item and cutting easily. A variety of Edible Image® decorations have been developed to allow for use in a broad range of applications. Orthodox Union Kosher Certified.

For the Top of the Cake Typically applied to the top of a cake, the standard format of Edible Image® decorations is available in many sizes that are perfect for decorating cakes ranging from 5” to half sheets.

For Chocolate Both chocolate colored and flavored, Designer Prints™ for chocolate allow you to add design to all types of chocolate icings, even soft icings like buttercream and non-dairy whipped topping.

For Cake Crafting™ Designer Prints™ sheets are perfect for Cake Crafting™ and can be cut into shapes and pieces or applied to fondant, gumpaste and SugarVeil® to create uniquely patterned bows and plaques.

For the Side of the Cake Developed to bring design to the side of the cake, Designer Prints™ decorations match up from strip to strip and can easily be wrapped around your desserts.

Print-Ons® Sheets Print-Ons® sheets are blank Edible Image® decorations specially formulated for printing the highest quality photographs and graphics. Like all Edible Image® decorations, Print-Ons® sheets meld into the icing and cut easily. See page 118 for more information.

Small format Edible Image® designs are available for your little desserts. Edible Shimmer Ribbons™ Shimmer Ribbons™ look like satin ribbons but are completely edible. The ribbons measure 1” wide by 10 1/2” long. They are printed with edible shimmer for a finish that truly sparkles.

New Vintage Rose ◊* 12 pack — 47095 / $15.95

Pipe delicate ruffles using a #115 large leaf tip before attaching the crafted floral centerpiece to this cake. To create the flower, first roll a 1.5” fondant ball as the stamen, and then use the rounded ends of teardrop cutters to imprint a stylized rose pattern. Attach two courses of plain fondant teardrop-shaped petals (rounded side up) to the ball, before attaching petals that have been dressed with Designer Prints™ sheets. Use Designer Prints™ strips in both traditional and crafting applications to create this soft, romantic tiered cake. Apply prints end-to-end to a single strip of fondant—the length will depend upon your desired flower diameter—and then easily coil the strip, gathering at the base to create the final blossom. Finish the flower with a fondant centerpiece. Pipe fanciful rosettes on the top and bottom tiers using a #5S open star tip.

Edible Transfer Sheets for Chocolate! This is the first transfer sheet in the market that does not contain cocoa butter. Use to apply design to milk, dark and white chocolate as well as coating chocolate. Edible Transfer Sheets are easy to handle and do not smear. Simply pour the chocolate over the patterned transfer sheet, let dry and peel away the plastic backing sheet.

TRANSFER SHEET APPLICATION For poured chocolate or candy coating:

1. Melt chocolate or candy melts and apply to the textured side of the transfer sheet.

Edible Image® Designs Application

Product Handling

Edible Image® designs work well on buttercream, fondant, gumpaste, chocolate fudge and ice cream cakes. • Remove the Edible Image® design from the metalized bag just before application. • Reseal the package immediately if images remain in the package. • Remove the design from its backing sheet by gently rolling it (face up) over the sharp edge of a table or counter to loosen it (see photo 1a). Carefully peel the image away from its backing sheet. • Lay the Edible Image® design in the desired position on your product (see photo 2a). • Gently smooth image with your fingertips as needed (see photo 3a).

Tips

• If image has become moist or difficult to remove from the backing sheet, place it in the freezer for 15 to 30 seconds (some images may require more or less time). Remove the image from the freezer, let it rest for about 5 seconds, and roll the backing sheet over the edge of a table or counter again. • Use an extra backing sheet to slide under an Edible Image® design to loosen it from the backing sheet or to guide placement of the design on your dessert. Alternatively, try a very fine offset spatula to loosen an image from the backing sheet. • For ice cream cakes only, if applying directly to ice cream, allow the ice cream to sweat, or mist the ice cream with milk before applying the image. If the image bubbles during freezing, GENTLY TAP (do not rub) the image. • For buttercream: if it has formed a crust, spray with a fine mist of water before applying the image. • For non-dairy whipped toppings: DO NOT ADD extra moisture. • For royal icing: Add a moderate mist of water. • For fondant: Add a slight mist of water.

After Application

• If the decorated cake is frozen, thaw slowly, preferably in a refrigerator. • Avoid extensive exposure to ultraviolet lighting. As with any food coloring, the image may fade over time. • Keep finished cakes refrigerated to extend shelf life. • If the image bubbles after application, GENTLY TAP (do not rub) the image.

Storage • Store Edible Image® decorations in original resealable metalized bag, in a cool, dry location. Clear zip lock bags are not airtight and cannot ensure longevity of the product. • Remove one image from the bag and promptly reseal the metalized bag. • Single pack bags are not resealable; do not open until you are ready to use the image. • Use the Edible Image® decoration immediately after removing it from the bag. • If you are in a high or low humidity environment, contact Lucks for additional storage recommendations. 3a

Edible Image® Designer Prints™ Decorations Application • Remove the design from its backing sheet by gently rolling it over the sharp edge of a table or counter to loosen it. Carefully peel one strip away from its backing sheet (see photo 1b). If you are using Designer Prints™ sheets, cut pieces to conform to your cake project while the image is still on the backing sheet and then remove and place on cake. • Position the strip or sheet on the side of your cake, in the desired position (see photo 2b). • Gently smooth with your fingertips as needed (see photo 3b).

Tips • Make sure the sides of your cake are as straight as possible, if applying to the side of a cake. • To remove the white edge of your Designer Prints™ decorations, use the straight edge of a pastry wheel cutter or an X-Acto type razor knife and trim the edge while the image is still on the backing sheet. • To trim excess image (leftover after you wrap your cake and match the strips), use an X-Acto knife and cut in an upward motion. • If you don’t want to worry about matching or trimming strips, pipe a line of frosting between the Designer Prints™ decorations. • Apply to fondant or gumpaste by using water or very thin clear piping gel. See full instructions on page 94. • Apply Designer Prints™ to fondant or gumpaste, and then cut shapes as you normally would (from the fondant or gumpaste) using standard cutting tools. • Use with cutting systems and tools either independently or after applied to fondant or gumpaste.

Dec-Ons® Decorations Tips • Dec-Ons® decorations work well on cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolates and confections and ice cream. • If you are applying your Dec-Ons® decorations to high moisture topping, put them on just before serving. • If your icing has formed a crust and Dec-Ons® decorations are not sticking to your food surface, dab a dot of buttercream or other icing on the back of your Dec-Ons® decoration before applying to food. • Bake Dec-Ons® decorations right onto your products. This application is best for brightly colored designs. • Dec-Ons® decorations will maintain their shape on buttercream cakes through the defrosting process.
