Meet the Directors Andy and Tina Sjwed trained in Edmonton and became Adagio Duet partners in 1992. They have been involved in dance for over 30 years and have 20 years teaching experience throughout Alberta and 15 years teaching in Wetaskiwin. They have travelled and performed throughout the United States and Canada, training on Scholarships at the “Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, “Broadway Dance Center and “Steps in New York. Andy & Tina travelled throughout Spain and performed in shows to enthusiastic crowds. Although dancing themselves was rewarding they soon knew that teaching was their real love. The chance to share their knowledge of dance and help children achieve their goals, was priceless. They are proud of the awards and scholarships that their students have achieved but are extremely proud of the feeling of family and camaraderie that has developed in their studio. They would be happy to have you join their dance family!

s

At Dance FX we believe the best way for children to learn is in an environment which they enjoy. “When teachers teach from their hearts, students learn to love what is taught.

One of the students at Andy & Tina’s Dance FX was accepted and received the Alberta scholarship to attend the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Summer Program Andy, Tina and staff were awarded numerous top choreographer and ‘Dance Excellence awards in 2010. Dancers awarded scholarships to train intensively in Jasper and in Los Angeles this summer
