Despite its small geographic size, the Netherlands is a big player in the global economy and is the fourth-largest direct investor in the United States. Leiden is a college town located near Amsterdam and The Hague.

Evolved from its entrepreneurial, dynastic and revolutionary roots, Shanghai has both feet pointed toward the future as the leading commerce and banking center of the world’s most populous country.

Conveniently situated in the center of Europe, Geneva has the dual role of private banker for the world and second headquarters for the United Nations. The finance sector specializes in private banking, financing of international trade as well as commodity trade.

As the economic center of Thailand and much of southeast Asia, Bangkok is home to all of the region’s major corporations and has a growing reputation as one of the most accessible cities for global trade and commerce.

I enjoyed the Capstone Course (especially since my group won). I thought it was a really good way to force us to put all our learning into practice, taking into account various aspects of business functioning.

Webster University’s Vienna campus sits along the Danube, offering spectacular views of downtown Vienna, and is within easy walking distance of the United Nations. Looking Beyond Your Life as a Global MBA Student … By the end of the Global MBA program, you will have developed a job search strategy based on extensive selfassessment and career exploration. So, how do you do all that with a full-time courseload while moving to a different country every nine weeks? We’ll guide you! Leadership and Professional Development–Woven into the fabric of the Global MBA program is the Global Leadership Development program which fosters both personal growth and professional development. Featuring individual career evaluations, seminars, networking events and private coaching sessions, the program guides each participant in developing an understanding of his or her leadership skills and professional goals. Students are then supported in defining specific strategies and methods to work through a targeted job-search plan. Global MBA Mentor Program–An important part of the professional development program is the executive mentor assigned to each student as part of the Global MBA Mentor Program. Mentors are seasoned executives chosen for their personal and professional success, experience in international business and ability to provide wisdom and guidance to their student. Corporate Visits–Global MBA students visit international corporations in each location. At these visits, students interact with executives, discuss current industry trends and events and learn how the principles learned in class apply to real world situations. Visits are linked to current class work and are integrated into cross-cultural management and global leadership activities and discussions.

GLOBAL MBA COURSEWORK The Global MBA program is a rigorous academic series that delivers a combination of knowledge and skills that help prepare students for a career in a global business environment. Consisting of 36 credit hours of intense academic immersion, the academic experience is directed by faculty who are global experts in their fields. Classes are conducted in English and include local MBA students at each Webster University campus. With an emphasis on the practical application of business concepts, students learn how to apply real solutions to real problems in real time and demonstrate a strong sense of business fundamentals in a global context. Through the integration of coursework and the real-life experiences professors and students bring to a cohortstructured program, the Global MBA Program helps students acquire the tools, knowledge and experiences that give them the competitive edge in today’s global marketplace. Admission Information Passports and Visas As a recognized leader in global education, Webster University understands the regulations related to travel within our international network. With that in mind, all U.S. citizens must obtain a valid passport to participate in the program. U.S. citizens must apply through the U.S. State Department at www.travel.state.gov. Students are solely responsible for procuring a valid passport. Students also will be responsible for obtaining a visa, if required, at the direction of Webster staff.

Students who have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university are eligible to apply for admission to Webster University. To apply, prospective students are required to submit the following: n n

Tuition and Fees The program fee for the Global MBA program includes 36 hours of graduate tuition, housing during each nine-week term, pre-departure materials and all textbooks.

Housing Students will live in a variety of on-campus and off-campus apartments and student residences at each location. Accommodation varies from campus to campus, but all housing will be located within walking distance, or with access to public transportation routes, for travel to and from each campus. Accommodations will be arranged by Webster staff onsite at each location. Note: Students will be responsible for making their own housing arrangements between academic terms.
