MEET OUR VOLUNTEERS! Dale Hietanen Mr. Hands-on Help—Dale Hietanen—is our original volunteer for this program. After retiring from the Chrysler Corp., he had extra time and asked if he could be of service to patrons who wanted personal help with computer-related issues.
32737 West 12 Mile Rd. Farmington Hills, MI 48334
His renowned patience, computer skills, caring attitude and friendliness make Dale a patron favorite. In fact, the Library has received generous donations from grateful folks whom Dale assisted! The volunteer experience has been rewarding for him as well, especially helping a WWII veteran (now deceased) prepare a “photo-book” for his wife that celebrated 75 years of their shared experiences.
