POSTAL MAILINGS Printed calendar delivered to the door of residents each month provides an additional advertising opportunity. As email spam filters get more aggressive, postal mail becomes the more effective medium (ironically also because fewer advertisers choose it, citing budget contraints). Cooperative advertising makes printing and mailing far more affordable.

Announcing.. Kids’ Summer Camps
We take art education very seriously at the Bee’s Knees. We have fun, for sure, but we also recognize how art has changed our lives, enhanced the experience of others around us and contributed to a society of creative thinkers. PBS released an article, “The Importance of Art in Child Development” that describes an education system shifting towards common core subjects, often leaving arts off the list. It lists numerous developmental benefits of art: motor skills, language development, decision making, visual learning, inventiveness, cultural awareness and enhanced academic performance. Webz is committed to doing our part to encourage the next creative generation. We’ve created a series of camps specifically designed to challenge creative thinking, engage young minds in critical problem-solving and deliver an experience to sprout interest in this vital piece of childhood learning. Each session features a creative theme and offers gender-neutral options: June 2-6
am: Fairy Tales & Fantasies pm: Road Trip
June 9-13
am: Under the Sea pm: Reduce • Reuse • Recycle
June 16-20 am: Go Team! (Sports) pm: Under the Circus Tent June 23-27 am: Comic Super Heros pm: Fashion Week

Why all the bees? Webz began in 1999 as a web development firm. Even though we expanded into other forms of marketing over the years, we always kept the same name. Maybe because it just felt snazzy. In 2011 we were preparing a pitch for a major client and needed a vertical orientation of our logo to fit into a skinny little spot. And just like that, after 12 years of looking at the same name, it finally occurred to us that it also spells “We Buzz.”

Since then we’ve learned an awful lot about bees from a variety of delightfully enthusiastic and knowledgeable people. Bees are known for hard work, cross-pollinating, producing honey with local flavors and causing a commotion in general.
