wedding style guide design and styling leaders Wow! What a year it has been! A year ago we decided to listen to you, our followers, and take our magazine to the next level of DIGITAL and the company underwent an awesome transformation that many other printed media are still struggling with. We have tripled our Facebook and Twitter followers with our Facebook having over 450,000 views per week! That in itself is a remarkable achievement and we thank you! With our new direction we have also introduced our new Image Inspiration Board where images are sorted into categories so that they are easy to access. We search worldwide to find the most inspirational ideas and images as we know you want to be kept up to date with everything new. This is a FREE subscription for our readers who receive a daily email with all the updates! Over the past year you have loved “The Bride’s Flowers”, “The Bride’s Gowns”, and overwhelmingly supported the Autumn and Winter 2012 digital magazines which has shown us we have created the right model for this new digital era for the international wedding industry. It is exciting to receive such creative submissions from quality worldwide photographers and event planners as this means our magazine is always at the cutting edge of fashion. Shortly we are releasing the “Best of 2012” as a printed hard cover book. This will be a beautiful gift full of amazing real weddings, inspiration and ideas that were featured throughout 2012 by Wedding Style Guide International. vana Zerella

Bridal Beauty with Arbonne Cosmetics

Chris King, one of Australia’s leading makeup artist’s says, “Many of my clients are brides and they quite often ask for a f lawless, long-lasting makeup look that makes them look their most beautiful.

For a fresh modern look, neutral always looks stunning. I use Arbonne Cosmetics earth tones to let the bride’s natural beauty shine through.”

Look #1

modern bride

Chris’ top tips to recreate this look Your skincare routine is paramount – in the lead up to your big day use the best skincare to prep your skin to give your skin a gorgeous glow before applying your makeup. Prime skin with Arbonne’s Makeup Primer. This product is great for brides as it creates a canvas for f lawless makeup $50. Illuminate the skin with Sheer Glow Highlighter $55. Apply to your collarbones and décolletage with a small amount of foundation to even out your skin tone – this is a great tip for looking good in photos! Use a mascara brush & clear gel to keep unruly brows in place such as Arbonne Lip Polish in Clear $36. Apply Arbonne’s Crème Concealer $32 to your eyelids to get a fantastic base for your eye shadow – it helps to mask veins, dark eye circles and prevent your eye shadow from creasing. Follow this with a neutral base eye shadow such as Linen $26.

Look #2 romantic bride Chris’ top tips to recreate this look

Chris King comments, “for a glamorous twist, shades of soft pink are very chic. Think berry stained lips in shades of fuchsia, raspberry and rose. These tones are amazing with a white dress and work well with all skin tones.” Apply Primer $50 and then your shade of foundation – I always use Arbonne’s Perfecting Liquid Foundation SPF 15 $55 as it is long wearing and also works to smooth and even out skin tone whilst offering sun protection. Apply Arbonne’s Sheer Glow Highlighter $55 to the apples of your cheeks & your brow bone for a beautiful, subtle sheen - you need to use Blush sparingly here. Try Arbonne’s Ballet or Blossom ($40 each). For the prettiest pout possible apply Lipstick in Candy or Jam ($36 each). Finish off this look with Translucent Powder $45 – a dusting of this will ensure that your makeup stays put from the church to the reception to the dance f loor! It promotes natural radiance and creates a soft-focus effect.

With love from Arbonne x For further information, imagery or to set up an interview with Chris King please contact Jessica Carew at Brand New Solutions 02 8356 9595 or jessica@brandnewsolutions.com.au

Why I love weddings? Well, look at the smiles all over people's faces. The chatter, the emotions that fill the air. As a child I enjoyed spending time on weddings we went to as a family. Meeting my then little friends, running between the chairs, enjoying life. And almost believing nobody cares, feeling comfortable. Today I go for those moments: People that are having conversations, are bursting into laughter, hugging, dancing, kissing or just looking to each other. I love when they completely forget that I am there, catching moments, keeping memories and caring about nothing but love.

Our reception was enjoyed with 3 delicious courses followed by a night of dancing in the company of our closest friends and family. Our 3 long tables enabled us to sit with our families for our first meal as husband and wife! We are so blessed to be able to share our love for the ocean and sailing. With so many magic miles shared cruising and racing together bringing with it incredible memories. Through our sport we have not only found each other but also many lifelong friends and our careers! We were so pleased to be able to spend our wedding day with the people that mean the most to us!

Andy and Kara met at the Hwy Hotel, a local place for both of them, and after chatting over a few drinks, they were both eager to see each other again. Two days later Andy asked Kara out on a date, which was quickly followed by more. After a few months of dating Andy took Kara back to the family’s farm in Kaniva to meet his friends and family and celebrate his 30th birthday. They spent their first anniversary together in Melbourne, where Andy bought her a Tiffany & Co. ring inscribed with the words ‘I Love You’, which his mother then referred to as a ‘promise ring’! Six months later, he proposed!
