Thank You Beloved family and friends, Our big day is finally here! We are SO excited to share this special moment with the very people who have helped shape who we are today. Many of you have traveled across deep blue oceans and state lines, or simply dragged yourself out of bed for the early morning start. We are grateful for each and every one of you that are able to join us in celebration. Thank YOU for the countless happy memories, unconditional love and support you have given to us over the years. We appreciate it more than you will ever know. We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge everybody who is unable to be with us today. How We Met Early May, 2010, Jani was out celebrating her 22nd birthday in Downtown Miami. It was her first birthday in the United States, after embarking on the journey of a lifetime as an international student. Little did she know what a wonderful birthday present she would be receiving this year :-) The stars must have been aligned that special night as Brandon reluctantly decided to go out with his boys at the very last minute. After experiencing all of the wild, crazy nightlife the city had to offer, he was getting ready to settle down. Little did he know that he would find his future wifey that very night :-) Jani caught Brandon's eye as she walked by. He smiled. She smiled. At that moment, he knew that Jani would be his. With the courage of a lion, he approached her and they instantly hit it off. Brandon was caught off guard by her charming Aussie accent. Jani was immediately drawn in by his South Carolina swag. An instant connection was formed... and the rest is history!

The Proposal On October 6th, 2012, Jani and Brandon were at St. Augustine Beach, snuggled together on a beach towel facing the ocean at sunset. He told her to look back at the sunset and follow the skyline around to the ocean in front of them. While she was busy following his instruction, Brandon pulled the box out of his pocket and revealed a gorgeous white and rose gold diamond ring! He explained the symbolic meaning behind the proposal which represented the sun setting in the US and rising in Australia simultaneously. It meant a lot to him that she had come halfway across the world for him. The newly engaged couple celebrated with dinner at Harry's restaurant and a round of drinks compliments of the friendly couple behind them who had been married for over 36 years. Brandon later confided in Jani that he accidentally dropped the ring in the sand when he anxiously pulled it out of his pocket to look at it one final time. What a cutie! He had also asked her father for her hand in marriage.
