Man!! I just realised a month before my wedding when the bridezella finally hit in, that a beautiful pair of nightwear for myself and my bridesmaids was something way too difficult if not impossible to find here in Pakistan. Wanting those silk and lace finished slips, gowns and soft pyjama suits, it was the tenth day my girl gang and I had been roaming around in the Lahori bazaars. With no ray of hope, I finally ended up getting my nightwears from abroad through a family member (which was no less than a hassle and a huge favour). It was that moment I decided that this was aproblem more important than anything was, literally,anything andI had to solve it
for the sake of all those frustrated brides wanting that perfect nightwear which is custom made to their requirements. After completing my bachelors and when the ‘newlyweds’ label started fading in a bit, I started Marsala loungewear with the support of my father and husband. Although it was a difficult journey, I believed that with sugar comes spice and not everything is nice!!!! Initially with a dozen of designs only, the feedback on the first week of sales was overwhelming and truly supporting,with the designs and cuts appealing to customers because of their distinctiveness.
