Play like the pros at the famous “Dubsdread” course at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Palos Park or enjoy the only public Donald Ross course in Illinois at Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood. With over 600 holes of golf, you’re sure to find a course for any skill level. Shop ‘til you drop at the local farmer’s markets. Several towns in the Chicago Southland region are hosting weekly markets that will feature fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, honey, baked goods, dairy products and other seasonal goodies. Leave all your “trebles” behind and take in some live music. Concertgoers can enjoy the Triple-Play Concert Series in New Lenox, featuring performances by BoDeans & Soul Asylum (June 26), ZZ Top (July 23) and Billy Idol (Au-

gust 7). See all three concerts for just $90! Head to the Pointe – Fox Pointe, that is – every Wednesday for Lansing’s free concert series. Enjoy local musicians performing all summer long!
