With a diverse lineup celebrating the blues’ past, present and future, the Chicago Blues Festival shares the great Chicago-born music tradition with the world while shining a spotlight on the genre’s contributions to soul, R&B, gospel, rock and more.
The Chicago Blues Festival is an annual event slated this year for June 8-11. It will feature performances by top-tier blues musicians, both old favorites and the up-and-coming. Hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily with concerts occuring 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday and noon to 9 p.m. Friday-Sunday located at Millennium Park. Admission to these concerts is FREE.
