Chicago Blues Festival
& Madison St., Randolph St. or Monroe St.
With a diverse lineup celebrating the blues’ past, present and future, the Chicago Blues Festival shares the great Chicago-born music tradition while shining a spotlight on the genre’s contributions to soul, R&B, gospel, rock, hip hop and more.. Headliners include Los Lobos, Blind Boys of Alabama with Bobby Rush, and Mud Morganfield.
New this year, the festival elevates its food options with a Blues-inspired smokehouse experience called “Wally’s BBQ Pit” in the North Promenade Tent of the Park with delicious BBQ fare and specialty drinks catered by Millennium Hall. In between
Blues sets, guests can stop to enjoy their BBQ, cornbread and drinks on picnic tables alongside whiskey barrels and visible smokers.
