It’s A Celebration of

This event is a celebration of everything BLACK! Celebrate the ending of chattel slavery in the United States through music, food, and giveaways (while supplies last). We’ll open the festival with a ceremony honoring our ancestors. We’ll then go into African drumming and dancing, a gospel concert featuring national recording artist, Joshua Rogers! Spoken word, storytelling, kids play area, food trucks, vendors, R&B concert, and end the night with a smooth jazz session.

Community partners & non-profit resources will be in the park to support this festival. Food trucks for the day include, Army Bratz, Rita’s Ice & Molly’s Fish, Chips & More!
