Delicious Delghts: At Haunted House Restaurant
By Norm Reed / Co-Editor
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS
- The Haunted House Restaurant in Cleveland Heights is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was transported to the thrilling world of 80s horror movies. The decor is incredibly detailed and perfectly captures that spooky, nostalgic vibe.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff is not only attentive and friendly but also fully committed to enhancing your dining experience. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and ensure that you’re having a great time.
As for the food, it’s simply delicious. The menu offers a wide range of options to satisfy every palate, and the quality is topnotch. For breakfast, let’s start with “The Haunted Waffle.” You have a choice of colorred, green, black; or if you aren’t that brave, you can simply order regular. The best part? It’s only $5.99.
For a heftier appetite, choose Rosemary’s Platter with three eggs any style, hash browns, bacon or sausage and Texas Toast. If you are really, really brave and want to explore something completely different, I suggest the “Texas Chainsaw Burger. You will just have to try it on your own to learn what the “massacre” sauce is.
The brunch menu is available from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on weekends from Fri. - Sun.
Dinner is served 4-10 p.m. Tues. - Thur., 5-11 Fri. & Sat. and 5-10 p.m. Sun. Starting with an appetizer you have the choices of items like “Nightmare on Elm Street Corn (Choose from “Stranger Things,” to “Chucky Rolls,” or “Frankenfish Tacos (5 *s). Next comes a Lurch burger or Creepy Seafood Pasta or Jerk Silence of the Lamb Chops. There is also a children’s menu.
Whether you’re a horror enthusiast or just looking for a unique dining experience, The Haunted House Restaurant is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return for another thrilling meal! For more information, to order online or make a reservation, visit https://thehauntedhouserestaurant.com/
