rayndler MP An thony Albanese surely hopes his belo ved Rabbi tohs c an w in tonight’s finals clash with Melbourne as easily as he retained his seat at the Federal Election last Saturday. Fears earlier this y ear that the L abor MP w ould lose t he sea t to the Greens w ere easily washed away, w ith Mr Albanese grabbin g about 4 8 per cent of the vote. The result means that there was actually a swing to Labor in the electorate despite the party losing government, w ith the Coali tion claimin g a dec isive election victory. Mr Albanese spen t much of elec tion da y last Saturday v isiting schools in his elec torate, lending support to various events some of the schools held for the day, but also drumming up final votes before the 6pm closure of the polls. As counting got underway Mr Albanese made a number of telev ision appearances lookin g confident as he continued to spruik the legacy that Labor leaves behind. “I thank the v oters of Grayndler for the honour
