Ms Tebbutt said the allocated funds came from the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership program. The funds assist community groups and local councils in building infrastructure. The program, now in its fourth year, was a former Labor government initiative. Ms Tebbutt said although the funding this year was lower than previous years, she was happy for the organisations. “I’m disappointed that the overall funding has been reduced even further in the Coalition’s second budget, [but] local organisations will still benefit from the funding,” she said.
