AQUA SALES SOAR HUGE INTEREST IN NEW DEVELOPMENT After hitting the market just five weeks ago, sales have soared at East Side Quarter’s stage two release, Aqua, with 50 per cent of the apartments already sold. So far downsizers and first home buyers have made up a majority of the sales, enticed by the luxurious yet convenient resort-style living. CABE CEO, Andrew James said the development is like nothing else in the region and assured prospective buyers that there are still premium apartments on offer. “We’re completely over whelmed, since we went to market five weeks ago we’ve sold 50 per cent, which is fantastic to see it doing so well,” he said. “Similar to stage one, people
understand the community, it’s the first village style living in the west, beyond the amenities people are loving the master plan approach. “It’s a lot of downsizers and first home buyers, what’s interesting is we’re also starting to see investors coming back into the market as well, which is a really encouraging sign.

If you’re a style conscious pet parent, you no longer have to settle for the mess they can often create in your home. Plenty of new products on the market allow you to forgo the daily mess from your fur or feather babies and keep your home looking chic. If you’re not sure where to start, check my tips out below to get your home back to looking stylish, whilst sharing it with your animal loved ones... Create a space of their own Much like ourselves, our pets like to have their own place to relax. If you don’t like the look of crates or climbing trees, try incorporating these features into the design of your home. For example, are there any unused corners or voids in your home that can serve as a
built- in Kitty scratching corner? With a bit of ingenuity, you can add a built- in space for your pet into end tables, entrance tables, kitchen cabinetry, and even bookcases! Feeding time Dogs and cats both should have bowls that are within neck height. These days, food bowls come in great looking styles that allow you to match with your décor. For a more bespoke solution, you could use an unused bottom drawer in your kitchen or even laundry area as a stow away feeding area. If you’re feeling handy, get some plywood, cut it down to the size of the drawer, cut holes big enough for the bottom of the bowls to sit in, but not big enough for the top lip of the bowl to fall into, paint with a weather- proof gloss paint
and glue or nail into your drawer for a special pull-out feeding bay. Friendly floors Floorboards are good options over carpets in most pet-friendly homes. Whilst they are generally easier to clean, certain floorboards can be more pet-proof than others. As a pet owner, you may want to opt for a floorboard that is long- lasting and scratch resistant. Vinyl flooring or tile floors are the most popular option as they are less likely to scratch and stain compared to hardwoods. They can also come in a variety of designs and styles to imitate stone or wood depending on your style preference. If your heart is still set on authentic hardwood flooring, there are some great, hardy engineered wood or wood-like tile options available as alternatives!

With so many films available, there’ll be one to suit you. Clear tint offers protection but still allows you to keep your view, so there’s no change to the look of your home. Security and safety films help protect from break ins or severe weather by helping hold the glass together, making it stronger and less likely to shatter. Reflective and frosted tints give you more protection and privacy. You know what THAT means? You can dance around to ABBA and the neighbours won’t complain!
