abor wants its heartland back. In a significant sign that the Opposition believes it has a big chance of winning Lindsay at the July 2 election, Bill Shorten this week confirmed the party will officially launch its campaign in Penrith.
The launch on June 19 will attract national interest and will be a huge boost to the campaign of local candidate Emma Husar. It’s the first time in recent memory that Labor has brought its launch to western Sydney. Full story on page 5
