THE HEARTBEAT OF PENRITH

$450K PAYOUT A Penrith woman has been awarded over $450,000 in compensation after she stepped into a faulty drain grate at a hotel in Bathurst, causing signific ant injuries to her foot and knee. Helen Wurth was visiting Bathurst for a horse racing event on February 19, 2011 when the incident happened. Last month, Mrs Wurth was awarded compensation after a court found the hotel shouldered part of the blame.
