Created in collaboration with iconic British fashion director Lucinda Chambers, the Weekend Max Mara Autumn Winter 2020 Signature Collection, Re-Find, is a contemporary yet timeless capsule that reflects the heritage and essence of the brand peppered with a Brit twist. Known for her great style and unique eye, as well as her trademark sublime quirkiness, Chambers mused:
“I created what is my perfect Weekend Max Mara wardrobe. I love what it stands for. The collection is both relaxed and stylish. It is a great mix of print and texture but also includes very simple beautiful pieces that you will wear forever.�
The styling is key but the spirit is free. The rich autumnal palette ranges from ink blue to rust, from camel to earth tones as well as winter white and orange. The finest fabrics and rich textures are fashioned to create personal one-of-a-kind looks. Accessories have an eccentric vibe and play an essential role in the collection including a maxi version of the brand’s famous Pasticcino Bag. An eclectic team of fashion darlings are behind the shoot starring supermodel Karen Elson. Apart from gracing many a cover and fashion editorial ever since being scouted as a teenager in the Eighties, Karen has enjoyed a successful career as a musician too. She has a long-lasting relationship with the brand having fronted the 1997 Weekend Max Mara campaign and having walked for some Max Mara shows over the years. She appreciates the ease and great tailoring of this Signature Collection and has a special penchant for the wide-leg pants. Her motto towards both fashion and music is very clear: “Being an individual is the best asset a person can have.� Re-Find gives you the opportunity to be just that.
