Wells Chamber to Host Jamboree of Free Family Fun WELLS The Wells Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be hosting their 12th Annual Family Jamboree on Saturday, October 2. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wells Harbor Park, 331 Harbor Road (fair weather only). This event features “free family fun” with games including a doughnut or apple eating challenge, ball toss, beanbag toss and relay races; Activ-

ity booths to make your own beaded bracelet, get a temporary tattoo, pumpkin decorating and mask decorating. The Wells Democratic Party will have a pinwheelmaking table at their booth and the Wells Republicans will have a “pin the tail on the elephant” game at their booth. Sebastian Privitera will be in attendance hosting sand art drawing workshops 12-2:30 p.m. down at the harbor beach.

The Wells Fire Department will be there as well with their junior fireman obstacle course and emergency vehicle displays. Craft vendors will be in attendance as well as Tony Hafford with his Vera’s Vittles food truck for lunch. Admission, parking, all games and activities are free! The Kennebunk’s Enjoy HarvestFest & Pumpkin Patch KENNEBUNK HarvestFest 2021 will take place on Saturday, September 25 at the Waterhouse Center, 55 Main Street, Kennebunk, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for family-friendly activities. Although it may look a bit different than in the past, there will be plenty of special events to keep the community spirit alive including free pumpkins for kids, crafts, food and a scavenger hunt! KENNEBUNKPORT All Aboard! Seashore Trolley Museum is hosting its 23rd Annual Pumpkin Patch Trolley on Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September 26, and October 1-3, 8-10. A new date has also been added this year – Monday, October 11 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day). The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine. Guests of all ages are treated to heritage railway rides on antique trolleys, where they are delivered to the museum’s pumpkin patch to select a pumpkin. Back at the Museum’s Visitors Center, families can paint their pumpkins and enjoy a cookie walk, photo scavenger hunt, craft-in-a-bag, festive fall photo back-drops, and more.
