As I am the designer of architecture and considering the issue and the ways of facing the problem of increasing ageing population, therefore I want to accept and not to reject them. Because these kind of facts can not be change and covered. While in my opinion, instead of thinking the impacts of ageing problem, I rather think about how to creative a society which is suitable for elder people and by this project they will always living with happiness for their rest of lives.

Concept Conrad P. Pritscher said in 1998: "Happiness is a journey, not a destination; happiness is to be found along the way not at the end of the road, for then the journey is over and it's too late. The time for happiness is today not tomorrow." . This could be considered to be the main idea of this concept. In addition I created an entertainment hub which is the soul of the project. Therefore, I identified several entertainment behaviors which are suitable for elder people and creative an interesting atmosphere which might encourage them to walk out and meet some new friends in this network, instead of always staying at their own room.

Entertainment Hub (Frg.1.)

Programs The program of this project can be easy classified into four parts: 1.Living space 2.Entertaining space 3.Caring space 4.Working space. First living space is obviously the place where residents live, Second entertaining spaces are the points showed in the Frg.1 . Third the caring space is the place where help is given to people to take care of their personal illness and also provide a rehabilitation place for some particular residents to use. Lastly, the working space can be separate into two parts: studio and tourism shop. The studio is the place for some people who had their own habits, being given help to earn some income, while the tourism shop is obvious the place for workers to sell their art works.

Concept Master-plan of site Put the entertainment network into the site

Creative more entertainment space: Try to make more places which can help elder people to feel happiness and relax for their rest of life. Such as picnic, playing chess, sunny bath, allotments and watching the beauty view of the sea.

Library: For people to read and also provide a cafĂŠ.

Karaoke: For people to sing and have fun times, also provide a bar

Personal Studio:

Concept plan for studio:

For elder people to creative their own works with their own habits. such as drawing, model making, sculpture making....

Every small area is a personal studio, and the big area which connect to each studio is a communication space which provide for people to chat, relax, discuss for their experiments of working.

Creative more outdoor activities: Encourage elder people to go out to having some exercise instead of staying at home. Such as walking around, clubbing, beaching, chatting and fishing.

Considering that the smooth landscape might much more suitable for the ageing people, instead of stairs.
