PROJECT 1
空間重組 REORGANIZATION A new space is created through overlapping and twisting the spaces wihtin the sections of the selected object and the sections of a base in the studio.

OBJECT
The object that I have selected is a pencil sharpener. Through observing and drawing out the sections of the object, I could imagine and analyze the spaces that exist within different areas of the sections.

ANALYSIS
1 The position of the orthodiagonal axis and
1 The angle between the centre of the circle and the y-axisis always 40’.
I made this analysis my rule to overlap the sections of the pencil sharpener and the sections of the site to create new spaces.

Compression of space
|REORGANIZATION| 14
I divided the spaces of the pencil case into three parts and observed the changes in the spaces when using the pencil sharpener.
When the mechanic works, the cover of the pencil sharpener will push the pencil into the mechanic for the blades to sharpen it.The space is compressed through the process. While the empty space fills up as the wood shreds of the pencil is accumulated as the pencil is sharpened.
I used lines at different spacings to represnt the space that is being compressed.
|REORGANIZATION| 15
|REORGANIZATION| 16
I found that the feeling of space as we walk from platform to tthe stairs and to the platform being compreesed is similar to the space compressed when using the pencil sharpener.

VVilla Bianchi
Architect : Mario Botta
Born April 1, 1943 (age 73) His designs tend to include a strong sense of geometry, often being based on very simple shapes, yet creating unique volumes of space. His buildings are often made of brick, yet his use of material is wide, varied, and often unique.
Location : Riva San Vitale, Switzerland
m
Characteristic :
Villa Bianchi faces Lake Lugano and distant snow capped mountains. The entrance is located in the upper most level by a steel bridge painted red. The bridge is a way to establish a physical relationship between the mountain and the structure. The outside of the building is made out of concrete blocks. While the inside is still mostly concrete, the walls are painted white.

that shows different spaces that shows the characteristics of the work of the architect,.
|CASE STUDY| 45
MODEL In order to show the characteristic of each space according to their level of privacy, I broke the single route throughout the building, and let different route connect the spaces.
Public space then would be the center of the building so that people from different spaces will gather here and interact with each other.

Due to the new arrangement of the route throughout the building, the center of the buildingis the public space, where people from space of different level of privacy, comes using different route, gather and sociate. I wish that different spaces could be separated to avoid much interference from one another.
Besides, addition and subtraction of each plan using 3x3 grid make up the form of the building while the surrounding that each elevation faces decides their openings and privacy level.

SUBSTANCE
Hydrangea bloom is a type of flower which grows in bunches and form the whole plant. The inflorescence of Hydrangea bloom is a corymb, with all flowers placed in a plane or a hemisphere or even a whole sphere in cultivated forms. Two distinct types of flowers can be identified: fertile flowers and sterile flowers The non-ornamental flowers were pentamers while the decorative flowers were tetramers.
My concept is to create a square with its own small spaces for people to stop by, gather and interact, by using the structure of the plant.

By making a 2.5D path, the pattern of the pavement could lead people to the resting areas or just pass by this space. By stretching out structures from the sides of the pavement makes up the space that would provide shelter and also changes of shadow to this path.
