If the recipient is a book lover there is sure to be something in this list that he or she would love to have, and if the recipient isn’t a book lover, maybe it’s time to get him or her started. Bookmark – You can use a ticket stub, a piece of paper, and you can even dog-ear a page, but a proper bookmark is more amusing. You can pick one to fit the reader’s interest - flowers for the gardener, cats for the cat lady, perhaps a dagger for the mystery buff. Book Weight – This is

something that the serious reader must have. Say you’re reading David McCullough’s John Adams while you eat your lunch. You need something to hold those pages down while you munch. Book Light – The best book light is the one that stands on the floor or hangs overhead, but some-

times you find yourself in a situation where you need one of those little lights that attach to a book. If you are reading in bed, on an airplane, or when the power is out a batteryoperated book light is a must.
