“Feeling at home� is an ongoing project born 5 years ago. It observes the intimacy of the family around the world trough the simplicity of the house. Up to date, images investigate approximately 30 countries in Africa, East Asia, Middle East and Central and South America. These individuals, who often live in rural areas, have been asked to show their homes and they proudly did it.

Andrea Borgarello holds a diploma in professional Photography at the Washington School of Photography, but also a PhD and 2 masters’ degrees in Development. He completed his photographic education attending the workshops with Mary Ellen Mark and Bruce Gilden.
