01 Home or Studio To break down and rearrange one item becomes an essential way to produce art works. This project aims to take artist’s residence as a test-land to create a studio space, in which artist can take his own living monments as work inspiration to create many artical works.

Craft model 1/50 Materials: white acrylic, tranlucent acrylic, SLS for 3D print, clay, copper pipe, wood. Equipment: 3D printer, laser cutter.
Sequences in sections This set of setions shows how the artist use the unusual spaces. In some sections, same spaces are set in different positions, but the way artist used it would be different due to the environment and the emotion. This would create some overlapped views and abnormal usage of the normal object.
02 Market or Gallery This project aims to release the conflict between life of the residents and the busy city by building up a shortcut and a multi-functional building. And make full use of the different functions to creating a flexiable and interesting space for those who want to show and even sell their works or ideas to public.

Structure of lifted wall and device for retail
Section of market 1/275
The lifted walls are controled by a group of hydraulic press machines put in the basement of the building. And the device for retail could be used as retail and wall at different state.
Section A-A shows the state of the building when all walls fall down to the ground floor and the retails are opened. In this case, the ground floor of the building will be used as a market and the second floor hanging on the truss will be a place for relaxing, communications and even some businesses.

Section of gallery 1/275 Section B-B shows the state of the building when all walls are lifted up by the hydraulic control system placed in the basement. In this way, the building was turned into a two-story gallery. In this gallery, the space was divided into five centrosymmetric shapes due to the structure and the way that the walls go.

03 Hospital or Museum This project aims to create a building for multiple functions including a small hospital for pets, an animal shelter for stray aniamls and a theme museum for citizens, species and scales. In which the shelter could provide a more nature and appropriate indoor and outdoor space for stray animals, and also provide a place to give education to citizens about ecological protection and animal care.

The first park is the start of the whole amusement park, and the water system also starts at the first park, cats and dogs could sit and play in this park, and they could also see the interesting facilities and views in the next several parks.
The topic of the third one is amusement and hide, there is a nine floored facility for animals to have fun in it. And there is a high passway for cats to walk, people could only see the activities from the mirror on the wall without disturbing them.
The topic of the last park is community. In this part, designer creats a flat for animals in the club, they could play together just as what they do in the wild world, in this way could they keep the ability to save their life in any environment.
Park 2: Contrast
Park 4: Water
The topic of the second park is contrast, the two holes is used for different functions, the fist one is a hole for passing through while the second one is used for relaxing, animals could do different things in this part, the life here is colorful.
The topic of the fourth one is water, it has the biggest water pool in the five parks. In this part, animals and humen could play together, and animals could play with the fish in the water and even drink the water, eat the fish.

1. Mirror wall could be seen from the second block of the museum, visitors can see the activities of the aniamls on the high corridor without directly contacting.

2. Water pool could be used as a amusement project for the animals in the yard, and this part is also a yard for visitors to observe the habits of the animals and feed them proporly.
3. Wall with holes is a device for both livily and silent activities, animals can have relax on the platform or jump thugh the holes, this is an intresting contrast for visitors standing in the museum and watching it.
4. Entrance of museum used another kind of material and there are series of prominet windows for visitors outside and the animals inside to have an first interaction and make the visitors have interest on the yard.
5. Community for animals is built for animals in the animal shelter in outdoor environment, they could occupy one platform to relax or do some interact activities with other animals.
6. Animal view in the park, the window of the museum is designed like showcases which show the activities of the visitors to the animals. And the recessed space created by three exhibition halls is a good place for kinds of activities.

This is a project in Zhengzhou, Henan. The project includes two residential buildings and one pubilc building. In this project, I took the task to draw the construction drawing of the 1#building and the public building independently within a month.
