hello FROM KRISTI
It’s
so hard for me to believe that around this time last year, we were cruising without a worry in the world! Cruising has become my all-time favorite way to travel. I love the ability to visit different ports without having to unpack. I love that there is everything I need/want and more on the ship; whether I want a burger by the pool or to get dressed up for filet mignon in the dining room, there is certainly no way to go hungry while on board. From spending the evening being entertained by comedians to going to the karaoke bar or relaxing in the theatre while enjoying awardwinning shows, you’ll have as much fun as you want to have. For those of you who’ve cruised with us before, you know where to find me before dinner and after the shows; I love to play blackjack, and the casino loves to see me coming. If blackjack isn’t your game, there are plenty of other ways to try your luck! There is simply something for everyone on a cruise ship, and we can’t wait ‘til our February 2022 cruise. If you’ve never been, the rest of us would love to take you along! • We’re just connecting the dots,
Kristi

ne month out of the year, Martha Ruth Moreland, 91, visits her daughter, Linda Smith, at her home in Ranchero Village in Weslaco. This year, Martha Ruth is scheduled to arrive March 1, “She’s coming on Texas Independence Day,” Linda excitedly shares. “Mom will probably have three full outfits [to commemorate], and she’ll probably change at the airport!” The two women hail from Amarillo, where Martha Ruth still lives. Linda has been coming to the Valley for 21 years and became a full-time
resident five years ago. The two Texans enjoy showing off their pride for the Lone Star State through fashion. In 2019 they kicked off their first Cruise with Kristi decked out in matching shirts bedazzled with the American and Texas flags. “First thing I want to say is those Kristi cruises are the most remarkable turnkey packages!” Linda explains that while she enjoys all that goes into planning trips, she really appreciated the CRUISE WITH KRISTI 2022 CONTINUED ON PAGE 4 >>
