BRADFORD CITY CENTRE If you’re in the city centre to shop, then The Broadway Shopping Centre is definitely the best place to start. The city’s main shopping centre offers a range of high street brands including Debenhams, Marks and Spencer, Next, Topshop, Khaadi, HMV and many more. There’s a food court offering a range of fast food options, plus the centre runs a diverse programme of events throughout the year. More high street names can be found at Forster Square Retail Park, near the railway station and at the Kirkgate Centre on Darley Street. The city centre is also home to a number of quality independents. An-X and Threads are definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for quality men’s clothing, while the quirky outlets in Sunbridgewells are ideal for gifts and unique items.

HAWORTH & KEIGHLEY Haworth offers a memorable shopping experience with a fine selection of independent shops lining the steeply cobbled Main Street. You can pick up everything from vintage clothing and jewellery, specialist books, heritage souvenirs, original art and traditional sweets. Be sure to check out the Cabinet of Curiosities, Hawksbys Gallery and Modo & Co. Whether you are looking for fashion, foodstuffs or furniture, look out for Mint Velvet boutique and Porters Menswear, Bettys for sweet treats and Baytree Interiors for your home.

SALTAIRE Saltaire has a surprisingly varied retail offering for such a small place, with a number of specialist outlets and boutique shops. This is thanks largely to the impressive Salts Mill building which houses a number of excellent retailers including Early Music Shop, and All Terrain Cycles. Elsewhere in Saltaire visit Victoria Road for some fabulous vintage and homeware stores including Radstudio, Giddy Arts and the Saltaire Vintage Shop. Further up the hill you will find a range of independent shops on Bingley Road selling quality fashion, jewellery and unusual gifts.
