THE RAILWAY CHILDREN 50TH ANNIVERSARY 29 - 31 August The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is well known for starring in the 1970 film ‘The Railway Children’. This event marks the film’s 50th Anniversary, there’ll be re-enactments of scenes as well as interactive items and film displays. SALTAIRE FESTIVAL 11 - 20 September Ten days of arts, culture and music in and around the World Heritage village of Saltaire. The Festival begins with the popular Open Gardens trail together with a range of children’s and family activities in the village and Roberts Park. Exhibitions run throughout the Festival in Saltaire’s historic buildings. The finale weekend features free live music in Roberts Park as well as food, drink and makers’ markets across the village.
