Yorkshire’s famous Gastro pub - The Fleece, Addingham launched their deli in 2012 to compliment the pub’s locally sourced menu with a relaxed country café feel offering fantastic homemade cakes, pastries and great locally ground coffee. Open from 8am till 5pm the deli is popular with cyclists, walkers and village folk. Using only local ingredients the breakfast menu is particularly good value. We look forward to serving you soon on our courtyard or indoor area.

FODDER

Fodder sells the very best food and drink from Yorkshire with a fully stocked butchery counter, a deli counter laden with fresh pies, pasties and a huge variety of amazing cheese. Fruit and veg is delivered straight from the farms and we have lovely jams and chutneys alongside freshly baked local bread and mouth-watering cakes. Fodder also has a lovely café serving everything from a full Yorkshire breakfast, through to afternoon tea and has

an extensive lunch menu. We are open Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 6pm and 10am to 4pm on Sundays and bank holidays. Those with an interest in baking will not want to miss a trip to Worsbrough Mill. Producing flour since 1625 the working water mill is set in the wonderful surroundings of 240 acres of tranquil Country Park. It is an amazing place to visit, have fun and see history come to life. Flour is freshly stoneground on site using English organic wheat producing a range of premium quality products, which includes organic flours as well as porridge, oats and super muesli. The unique way in which the flour is stone ground, using water from the River Dove, means bakers

will achieve a more nutritious loaf compared to other organic flours. The small batches produced ensure that the flour is as fresh as possible which achieves the best results. It’s the freshness that counts when producing the best, most wholesome bread, cakes and pastries. WHITBY KIPPERS Fortunes Kippers, from the only traditional Smokehouse in the famous historic port of Whitby in North Yorkshire is famous locally and worldwide for excellent, high quality kippers. Fortunes Kippers are family owned and have been smoking kippers for over 140 years.

WENSLEYDALE CHEESE Wensleydale Cheese has been crafted in the county since the 12th century, but it wasn’t until 1897 and the building of the first creamery for it to be made on a larger scale.

Located in the heart of Barnsley Town Centre, the market has a bright atmosphere with over 300 stalls in indoor and open areas.

LIQUORICE The Liquorice plant was brought to Pontefract by the Dominican Monks in the early 16th century. The production of liquorice products continues in Pontefract, the most well known being Pontefract Cakes - invented in the town by chemist George Dunhill in the 18th century.
