WELL DONE! IT’S OKAY by J. B. Hogan

IT’S OKAY by J. B. Hogan

It’s okay to go on,

to laugh, joke, even cry;

it’s completely natural,

it’s the way things work.

Don’t feel bad if you forget,

sometimes don’t remember;

it gets a little easier,

hour by hour, day by day.

It’s okay to enjoy your life,

to shop for groceries,

to get a coffee, to let it go.

Let it go, we all have to,

we all have to go, we all

have to forget, time doesn’t

stand still when we’re gone,

so just keep on living, live your

life – there’s nothing else for it,

you’ll remember when you

need to, have to, want to,

it’s all okay – to go on with

your life, to enjoy your life,

it’s completely natural,

it’s the way things work.
