HEY SISTER. What you’re about to see is a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Six years ago when I first dreamed up the Give Me Jesus Journal, I had no idea women all over the world would use it one day. I did know that I deeply longed to meet Jesus through his Word. My heart craved his truth, presence, and abundance. I had learned that everything in this world is rubbish when compared to Christ, and I wanted to taste and see this truth firsthand. When I first started jotting down ideas for this quiet time journal in 2014, I knew without a doubt that it was to be called the Give Me Jesus Journal. The hymn “Give Me Jesus” had long been a favorite of mine. It begins with these words:
IN THE MORNING, WHEN I RISE IN THE MORNING, WHEN I RISE IN THE MORNING, WHEN I RISE
GIVE ME JESUS
Simple enough, yet powerfully life-altering. Do I want Jesus first thing? Do I really believe he is enough? Do I love him with ALL of me: heart, soul, mind, and strength? I wanted to answer these questions through the journal. And I can honestly say, six years later, as I have studied the Word consistently using the Give Me Jesus Journal, I sing these words with more gusto than ever before. Why? Because I’ve tasted and seen that he is good, and none will ever compare to Jesus and the glory of the Gospel. I want this for you, too. I long to see women taste the goodness of God themselves. I ache to see hearts come alive in his presence! I believe it is possible, and it starts with being women of the Word. This journal is an invitation. It’s an invitation to go deeper in your walk with the Lord, put the #WORDbeforeworld, and live in the fullness that Jesus offers. Today is the day to start, sister. It’s the perfect day to open up his timeless Word and be changed into his likeness. I guarantee, you’ll never regret spending time getting to know him in the Word. Are you ready? Join me as we root ourselves deeply in truth and flourish through abiding in Christ. You can have all this world, just give me Jesus.

HERE’S WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING ABOUT THE JOURNAL: This journal has helped me to have a more intentional approach to studying God's Word. -RACHEL, TENNESSEE
It's helped me to really dig into the Word, encouraged me to read what I'm studying multiple times and ask questions about what I'm reading. -ABBI, OKLAHOMA
It helps me to focus on Jesus instead of self. -E LI Z ABE TH I can't say enough good things about it! I love starting off with gratitude, but my absolute favorite part is that it points me to look for who God is in every passage that I read and then draw application from that. -ALYSSA, TEXAS
This was the first tool I bought. I had no clue how to read my Bible before and this taught me how to ask questions and go through my Bible time slowly. This really just showed me how to read my Bible. -HAYLEY, WASHINGTON

FIVE TIPS TO PUT THE 1. Gather your Bible, Give Me Jesus Journal, and pen and place them in one consistent place. This will enable you to have easy access to the Word when you are going to study the Bible! 2. Have a plan! Choose one book of the Bible at a time to study and stick with it. This will remove the question of “what do I study? when you come to the Word. Plus, it will enable you to better understand Scripture and study in context. 3. Choose one verse or passage to memorize and say first thing when you wake up to place your mind on the things of Christ. 4. Put your phone on airplane mode or leave it in another room when you are studying the Bible to eliminate distractions. 5. Have accountability! Find a friend or ask your spouse to help keep you accountable to get into the Word each day.
