This modern minimalist haven is proof that perfect timing applies in a lot of things, even in building a home. It began in 2005, when Architect Daniel Go of ADGO Architect and Design Inc. was commissioned by a client in designing a home. However, the owner had to prioritize another investment, so the plans for the house had to be temporarily shelved. Two years after, Daniel was given the go-signal to proceed in building the client’s home. “My client wanted simple lines, not outrageous, and nothing excessive,” shares Daniel. Keeping those preferences in mind, Daniel stuck to modern minimalist design elements. The dining, for one, features a six-seater ensemble in black. Countering the dark tones of the furniture is natural light that passes through the Andersen gliding doors and windows. The kitchen also follows the monochromatic scheme with white counters and black countertops, all set against the warm shades of the frames of the windows and doors.
