The atmosphere and facilities are brilliant. Very reasonably priced too.” “Just what Wem needs. There’s nothing for people with dementia unless you are prepared to travel. How can these showings help a person living with dementia?

Many people living with dementia feel isolated, cut off from society and their local community. An afternoon at a relaxed cinema screening can re-engage people living with dementia and leave them feeling enriched. A regular cinema screening can be daunting with loud music, dark shadows and inaccessible seating. At a relaxed seating, audiences can sing, dance and move around in a relaxed and warmly lit environment with more comfortable sound levels and trained ushers on hand who understand patrons’ needs.

How to Book

Tickets are available to book online at www.wemtownhall.co.uk or through our Reception on 01939 232299. Unfortunately we are unable to offer carers tickets online. Please contact our Reception team if you would like to book carers tickets. Showings are limited to 50 seats - if you are a carehome and would like to book a large group, please contact our reception.

Parking

We have a drop off point at the back of the venue, on Noble Street, for minibuses and private cars to unload. We ask that customers park on the main car park by the Co-op so other patrons may drop off.
