Lifening Department Building Expansion Project
With the increase of students in Landscape Architecture Department of TunghaiUniversity, the board of director has premitted the expansion project to improve the educational quality.
To implement the purpose of green school,a hybrid bus station will be set at College of Agriculture, which is beside the LA department.
The origin and the key point of this design will be based on the user's needs, and the connection between the outdoor space at the south of LA department(255 m²) and the bus station.

Red bricks are important material in our campus, most of the departments were build by them.
To symbol the life we had as a Tunghai student, the wall use the old bricks from the original wall. 15

2014 TILA Student Landscape Architecture Design Competition_Healthy Landscape
In a community where houses are closely built, the living areas of each household are widely overlapped, and the border line of public and private spaces is ambiguous, which shows that the residents have developed a unique relationship between each other to surmount the hardship environment. Treasure Hill is like a mini ecosphere. Houses in this community are built at the side of a mountain and a river, yet there are full of strong vitality. In the past fifty years, this commuity has been struggling to survive in the development of the urban renewal. As a military dependents' village, most of the buildings were built in 1950s, dependents' villages is a unique cultural landscape that may soon pass into oblivion, as old soldiers pass away and urban renewal and redevelopment takes place. | 3rd year, Semester 1. Site Analysis Most buildings of Treasure Hill are illegal structures,residents use anything they could get to build the house, like woods, bricks, iron sheets, plastics, cardboards or roll tiles. With the decrease of the population there, many houses have been ruined and discarded, which leads to the dead end of the public security, and also become to a forgotten corner.
The whole village take the dust from the Fuhe bridge and the Shuiyuan Expy,we want to use the advantage of these ruined corner to design a new type of planting. To preserve the cultural landscape, and to create a new style of green life. The breathe fom the Treasure Hill,the healthy landscape. 20
Three unique type of structure in this village.
To fully utilize the characteristic of the structure of the village, we figure out a way to hold the old structure, a roof top trellis, with membrane layer made of hydrogel,the vertical and horizontal space can both be used to plant vegetables, the excess water from the irrigation can be filtered and drifted to ecological pool.

The discarded houses created an open space for the residents to put the trellises and take care of the vegetables together.
