Case Study - Signage Package
Nittany Lion Inn – Penn State University, University Park, PA
CONCEPT: The signage project for the renovated Nittany Lion Inn at Penn State University involved creating 293 signage pieces for the public space. Our focus was to ensure that every detail aligned seamlessly with their overall concept, including the production of all ADA complaint signage and local code required signage which featured braille, tactile lettering, as well as photo luminescent material for their required interior stairwell signage.
SOLUTION: Despite the tight schedule, the team dedicated themselves to delivering high-quality signage for the Nittany Lion Inn renovation. Attention to color matching, particularly the Nittany Lion blue, was paramount. Logos were designed in brass, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. The team’s communication and execution were exceptional, delivering high-quality work within budget and with a quick turnaround.

Hampton Inn & Suites - Welcome Sign
CONCEPT: The Hampton focal wall will serve as the signature feature welcoming visitors and setting the tone for their experience. It will encapsulate the spirit of the property’s location, imparting a sense of arrival.
SOLUTION: The focal wall is adorned with captivating regional artwork and elegant signage situated behind the reception desk. This carefully curated display will feature vibrant, immersive artwork encased in plexiglass with stylish, elevated laser cut lettering to create a visually striking and welcoming focal point for the property.
Case Study - Signage Package
Senza Hotel – Napa, CA
CONCEPT: The Senza, a boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Napa, California, contacted Wendover to undertake a comprehensive rebranding and signage fabrication project. The goal was to capture the contemporary elegance of the property and infuse it into every aspect of the signage as part of their renovation.
SOLUTION: We introduced a sophisticated black and gold color scheme as the hallmark of the new branding. This entails a 30-inch main entrance signage, building identification signs, wayfinding monument signs, and elegantly designed room number signs. We also crafted a bespoke 36-inch sculpture of the hotel's beloved mascot, OWLIVER, an owl that will stand as an emblem of the hotel's identity at the main entrance. This tailored approach enhances the guest experience and represents the hotel's unique character within the Napa community.
