RAF Halton Change of Command
RAF Halton Personnel formed a lining party for the departure of the outgoing Station Commander, Group Captain Katherine Wilson. She left the Station in late August to go to the Royal College of Defence Studies at Main Building.

RTS have a New Commanding Officer
Squadron Leader Laurence ‘Loz’ Humphreys has passed the command of Recruit Training Squadron at RAF Halton before departing for Winterbourne Gunner to take up a position in The Defence Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Centre, (CBRN).
He handed over the Sword to new Officer Commanding, Squadron Leader Katy Steed, Provost Branch, who said: “Having previously served as an instructor at RAF College Cranwell, I am delighted to take over command of RTS and be back within a Phase 1 training environment.
“Originally from Chesterfield in Derbyshire, I come to RTS with over 19 years’ service, both in the ranks and commissioned service. I look forward to the challenges of Command and being part of RAF Halton Station.”
