OCTOBER 2023 Each month, Wentworth welcomes new staff and faculty to join our vibrant community. Meet the newest Wentworth employees and get to know a little bit about your colleagues.

Mick Bates Community Director, Housing and Residential Education Mick will be the Community Director in Tudbury Hall. They’ll manage the Community Advisors in the building and act as a resource person for Tudbury residents. They will also hear conduct cases, serve on duty, and manage occupancy and keys for students. What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken? My recent trip to Italy this past August. It was absolutely beautiful and on my bucket list of places to visit!

Max Green Director, Advancement Services / CRM Max will oversee the Advancement Services team and become Wentworth’s in-house expert on Slate for Advancement. His team will support the broader IAER organization and focus on building new processes and strategies that help us scale our operations. Which living person do you most admire? There’s a really great writer I admire: Leonard Gardner. He wrote “Fat City” in 1969. It’s such a beautiful & sad book (Denis Johnson was also a big fan). He also wrote some “NYPD Blue” episodes back in the day.

Greg Lane Community Director, Housing & Residential Education Greg will be the Community Director in 610 Huntington Ave. He’ll manage the Community Advisors in the building and act as a resource person for 610 residents. He’ll also hear conduct cases, serve on duty, and manage occupancy and keys for students. What song do you know all the lyrics to? “No se habla de Bruno” (Encanto Soundtrack)

Hunter McKenzie Library Assistant Hunter is the newest member of the library team. He’ll help to complete interlibrary loan requests, acquire and catalog journals, manage social media, create book displays, collaborate on exhibits, supervise student workers, and close the library in the evenings. Which living person do you most admire? Joni Mitchell


OCTOBER 2023 Yonalis Perez Program Manager, Accelerate Yonalis joined the Accelerate team to plan and implement the Center’s maker, entrepreneurship, and innovation opportunities. With a wide range of programmatic experience from UMass Lowell and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Yonalis will also be co-managing Accelerate’s student community while partnering with departments and clubs across campus. What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken? Dominican Republic, where I was able to connect with my culture through food, sight-seeing, and visiting family. I enjoy staying connected with my roots and try to visit at least once a year.

Narali Taglialavore Director of Cooperative Education Prior to joining Wentworth, Narali served in a variety of career development roles at Boston University, Suffolk University and the Stevens Institute of Technology. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership: College Student Affairs from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken? Aruba! It truly is one happy island.

Kyla Vigdor Administrative Assistant for Registrar’s Office Kyla previously worked with us as a temporary employee and we are excited to have her join us full-time. Kyla holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Northeastern University, which she obtained in 2021. In her free time, Kyla likes to explore new restaurants, spend time with her loved ones, play the violin, and jog when the weather is nice.
