Michael BalinskiLab
Managerand Science Demonstration Coordinator
Dr. Balinski is a great addition to the School of Sciences to support the laboratory technicians and instructors in biology, chemistry and physics. Michael has a natural curiosity of the world and will apply his creative ideas to scientific demonstrations and videos for prospective students and public visitors.
What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken?
The best vacation I have ever taken was a week and a half to Mackinac Island while my sister was a girl scout Island Honor Guide. Seeing some of the quieter less tourist focused areas of the straights and the island was peaceful and affirming in ways that are hard to describe but still linger in my memory.
Nick Campanella Associate Director for Residential Education
Nick will be leading Housing and Residential Education in the community development and Living Learning Communities (LEAPs) program for first year students. Nick will also be developing and overseeing the Community Advisor training and development program along with the management and development of the Community Supervisor team.
What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken?
I studied abroad in Madrid during undergrad, and on that trip I had the opportunity to explore Spain and a bunch of other cities in Europe!
Vera Grek Director of Graduate and International EnrollmentVera will manage the graduate admissions team’s day-to-day operations, including recruitment, events, and application processing. She will also work to shape and execute the international enrollment strategy for the enrollment division through travel planning, partnership management, and relationship building.

Beck Gusler Director of Financial Aid Compliance
Beck will oversee the vast compliance regulatory requirements of administering financial aid. Beck previously served as the Director of Student Financial Services Operations at the University of the Arts in PA.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I play competitive pinball and volunteer at an arcade repairing pinball machines in my spare time.
Co-ops & Careers is happy to announce our newest Co-op & Career Advisor, David Albanese, who was recently the Assistant to the Dean of the College of Computing and Data Science. David took a brief hiatus from Wentworth when he left for Suffolk University and returned to us in July. He’ll advise Computer Science students, many of whom he already knows from his time with the school.
Mui Chhua Enrollment Services CoordinatorMui joins the frontline team in Enrollment Services as a point of contact for Financial Aid and Students Accounts. In this role, Mui will provide comprehensive customer service to all students, families, faculty, staff, and external partners who interact with the Enrollment division.
Imani is a recent graduate of St. John’s University in New York and has been working in the Financial Aid Office in a temporary role since March 2023. Imani will be one of the first people to help answer questions and meet with students. Please welcome Imani as a permanent part of the Financial Aid team!
Maritza Martinez Director of Outreach & Financial WellnessMartiza will re-launch and re-energize the Leopard Cents Financial Literacy program by partnering with campus offices to provide financial wellness education to our students. Maritza previously worked at Middlesex Community College as the Director of Student Accounts where she implemented a robust financial wellness program.
Rosalyn will play a key role in helping to ensure a smooth transition from ADP to Workday over the next several months. Once we are live in Workday, Rosalyn will have primary oversight for the entire Payroll team.
