Use the online booking system where you can now book several activities for multiple participants in ONE simple transaction. Most activities require advance booking and payment. Early booking is advisable as places are issued on a first come first served basis. Online booking will close at 4pm on the day before the activity [subject to availability]. The following symbols will be displayed next to the activities in this brochure to show the booking methods:

Wheelchair Skills Training 2 – 21 year olds Sun 21 July

Sir Graham Balfour High School, North Avenue, Stafford, ST16 1NR Learn wheelchair skills such as coping with slopes and rough ground, back wheel balancing, road safety and emergency evacuation techniques and enjoy fun wheelchair games, sports and dance. This workshop is being run by the Sports Development Team in conjunction with Go Kids Go who are a charity that run free wheelchair skills workshops across the UK. Stafford’s Big Burh Day

Kicking off Stafford Festival is Stafford’s Big Burh Day, celebrating 1,100 years since the formation of Stafford as a ‘Burh’, or fortified settlement. The county town will come to life in the morning with a storytelling parade through the town centre from 11am. The Market Square will host a showcase of local music throughout the afternoon and it will then be transformed for an early evening concert featuring some well-known bands and performers. If you live in Stafford Borough you can apply for your free concert tickets from www.staffordfestival.co.uk by Friday 21 June. Lucky ticket winners will then be selected by ballot.

This year children’s TV characters Ben & Holly from Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom will be attending Victoria Park, making personal appearances at various intervals (12 noon, 1.30pm, 3.00pm and 4.00pm) all free of charge.

WEEK 6 Fri 30 August Stafford Leisure Centre Lammascote Road, Stafford, ST16 3TA Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, this is a great opportunity to have fun on the trampolines and take it in turns to be taught new skills to perform and practice. Sessions are for participants with learning disabilities and a parent / guardian must stay for the duration of the session and stand by the trampoline for safety reasons.
