APRIL - JUNE 2020 WE ARE WORKING IN THE GHOST LIGHT UNTIL WE CAN RETURN TO THE STAGE

WEST AUSTRALIAN OPERA IS COMMITTED TO SHARING THE POWER OF MUSIC EVEN IN CHALLENGING TIMES AND WHILE WE’RE AWAY FROM THE STAGE, WE ARE WORKING IN THE GHOST LIGHT. A ghost light is left on when the stage is dark and the theatre is closed. It is a beautiful symbol that hope is not lost and that the artists and the audiences will be back. We are working in the ghost light to provide a digital platform for you to engage with your state opera company during COVID19. Ghost Light projects are all presented free of charge.
