PILOT PROGRAM
REMEMBRANCE As Canada pauses at 11 a.m. to remember the fallen, see our special report. 25
The study of access to food in Fitzroy Harbour is part of a two-year pilot project called Where’s The Food? It’s organized in part by the University of Ottawa and funded by a grant from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research. The goal is to find out what the community eats and where the food comes from. Fitzroy joins downtown Ottawa’s Sandy Hill neighbourhood as the first two communities to be studied. The organizers will use what they learn from the first two studies to adapt future research. The Fitzroy group first met on Sept. 21, and will meet again in early January See ‘LOCAL’ page 2
