There were hugs and a few tears as a father and son duo from West Carleton realized they had won the Ottawa Sun Scramble tournament on Aug. 30. Fourteen-year-old Hunter McGee tapped in the final putt about a
half-foot away from the pin as his father Allen stood by. “We knew we won it. It was an unreal experience,” said Hunter. “We hugged and cried. We came together as a team and played the best golf we could. And we won, which is just awesome.” See THIRD, page 29
