TIMOTHY MOONEY - Terry

At WCT: Debut

Elsewhere: Timothy is a Toronto based actor who is delighted to be returning to his first love, the stage, after an extensive career in TV and Film. Select TV: Anne, Titans, Mayday, The Mayor of Kingstown, Houdini and Doyle, Alphas, Covert Affairs, and many comedic relief bumbling ‘Police Officer’ roles in Hallmark Productions. Select Film: Spotlight, Molly’s Game, The Sunset Channel, and The Last Casino. Timothy couldn’t be more honoured and prouder to be a part of this production of Hurry Hard and would like to thank WCT for giving him the opportunity to work with such an amazing team, bring one half of the Mead brothers to life, and perform for the incredible community of Kamloops. Stayner, Ontario is in the rink ladies and gents!

REM MURRAY - Johnny

At WCT: The Wizard of Oz, Children’s Chorus – Fiddler on the Roof

Elsewhere: Rem was born in Worchester, Massachusetts, but he has spent almost the entirety of his life living in British Columbia. Rem fell in love with theatre during his first theatrical production, where he was part of the Children’s Chorus in WCT’s production of Fiddler on the Roof, and he is absolutely thrilled to be working again at Western Canada Theatre a decade later. Other roles of note include Edmund/Aslan/Mr. Beaver in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (Project X) and LC-4 in Fight Girl, Battle World (TRU AWT). Rem would like to thank all of his dear friends, family, and mentors who have supported him along the way.

YUMI OGAWA - Sandy

At WCT: Debut

Elsewhere: Yumi is based in Vancouver, where she lives with her husband and daughter. Some of her theatre highlights include: The Cafe (ITSAZOO & Aphotic Theatre); Mom’s the Word (Theatre Northwest, Belfry/PTE); her semi-autobiographical solo show, Japanglish (Star9Productions) which was nominated for Best Solo Show and Best Female Performer at the Victoria Fringe; writer & performer with the Assaulted Fish sketch comedy; Sex in Vancouver 1 & 2 (VACT). Yumi is a member of the Tarts playwriting group and also enjoys writing her blog (Tada! It’s the Yumi Blog. yoyume9@tumblr.com). She loves to bake, tap dance, and go for high tea.

TERRI RUNNALLS - Darlene

At WCT: Witness for the Prosecution, Tales from the Stage

Elsewhere: Terri is an actor and theatre educator from Kamloops. Terri has toured across Canada on the Canadian Fringe Festival circuit for 10 years with Saucy Fops and has worked with CBC Radio, Project X, and TRU Actors Workshop Theatre. She is currently the Director of Education and Outreach at WCT and has been teaching theatre for over 20 years for the Stage One Theatre School and Next Stage program, as well as SD73, ArtStarts, and various homeschooling groups. Terri is so very grateful for this opportunity and for the village that has enabled her to do what she loves with this wonderful group of people. Adalyn and Easton, I love you, now go to bed. Thank you, Mom. Pops, this laugh is for you.
